Sadly, all I have is a schmorg!

 This picture of Bentley would be perfect if that was McTreaty in the background and not his evil twin!

 This awesome racetrack kept my nephew and I entertained one evening...LOVE that kid!

 Jack, our passive, sweet, and loving lab sliced his foot on something and I'm pretty sure I saw some of his muscle right before I fainted...

 Somehow McTreaty talked me into drugging our precious little lamb with benadryl and playing nurse so he could suture him up and save us a vet visit. Let me just say I am in NO WAY cut out for that business and thankfully backed out before anyone could get hurt. I will stick with teaching, it only makes me nauseous occassionaly! haha! Unfortunately, teaching doesn't quite support $300 vet bills! (We are becoming frequent flyers at our local vet these days!)

 I saw a coupon code for this baby and just couldn't resist! I'm obsessed with all things paper and love any excuse to buy a new pen!

 I'm taking an advanced photography class (yes, I threw in advanced to make me feel fancy schmancy!) in an amazing studio that's located on the top floor of an old warehouse in downtown Tulsa. The view is just incredible and was even more spectacular when it started to snow!

 I've been all consumed with Words again. As in I spent my whole Christmas vacation playing. My brother-in-law (who for the record I'm beating) has actually stalker called and texted me when I don't send a word back in a timely manner. I won't say he is crazy, but I will say he accused me of cheating because of my fabulous word quoth:

Verb:

Said (used only in first and third person singular before the subject): "“Well, the tide is going out” quoth the sailor".

Can I just say that I would never cheat and what good Word gamer wouldn't try every vowel combination when given both the q and the u? I rest my case.

This might be a classic example of me loving to jot down meaningless notes or my lack of a life. But we recently cancelled our frivolous cable and dvr services. We were paying an insane amount each month and every time I'd call to cut back or cancel a few channels, I get conned into adding 100 new movie channels which would completely defeat my whole purpose for calling.

McTreaty discovered the Roku (and was the one to call and cancel our cable) which seems to have solved all of our problems. We subscribed to HuluPlus and Netflix and can order movies from Amazon. Unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of just pulling up my beloved dvr anymore to catch up on my shows....I have to remember what the shows actually are and watch them on Hulu. Not a big deal if you have a handy dandy list!

Which leads me to the 2nd activity that consumed me during my Christmas vacation...Arrested Development. With my lovely Roku I sadly watched 3 entire seasons of this hilarious show starring Jason Bateman, whom I adore. That's a lot of t.v. my friends and I'm not proud of it, but I am going into serious Arrested Development withdrawals. Sadly, the show ended in 2006. 

I would ask for t.v. suggestions, but I'm afraid if I added any more shows to my list I'd never blog again! But, if you have a show I can't live without then go ahead and let me know!  Who needs sleep when there are quality t.v. shows to watch?
