Sooo, yesterday was my birthday...I'm officially on day two of the last year in my twenties! Got it? Turning 29 definitely has a little stab in the gut that comes with it! You are without a doubt on the downhill side of your twenties, in fact, you are about to step off the slide altogether! I've hated the idea of getting older since my 19th birthday and every year I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE I'M ANOTHER YEAR OLDER and how fast time flies! To offset my sour feelings of living my last year as a twenty something I'm sharing some pics from my 5th birthday! lol!
Does it make me feel even older that is was 24 years ago? ABSOLUTELY!
But remember how exciting it used to be to blow out your candles and lick the icing off of them?
I'd be SO excited about my birthday for weeks I could hardly stand it! Plus, the days just seemed to last forever!

We got to ride all the exciting rides! I do remember that my dad didn't feel so well after this one!

Poor Melanie looks absolutely terrified! My brother and sister-n-law just took my nephew to the same kiddie park...just wondering if they updated the equipment in the past 24 years!

Happy Happy Birthday! I hope its fabulous! I have to say I turned 31 this year and just love being in my 30s. Its kind of cool, but do I wish I could go back and do it all over again??? I have to say one of my friends turned 21 yesterday and I was just a little bit jealous!!! Happy Birthday!
