Our adventure started on May 15, 2004

McTreaty and I tied the knot 9 years ago! It is so crazy how fast time flies!!

I'm 9 years older and 15 pounds heavier, but much more mature and much wiser...that's a good trade off right? I'm just going to keep telling myself it is!

Anniversaries on weekdays tend to get the short end of the stick mainly because I'm too exhausted after work! Since we hadn't taken our dogs to play in while we thought we should go before we took our anniversary nap...naps are exciting and necessary when you're 30!
Story of my life! Bailey always get jealous when we hug, kiss, or dance! This picture deserves a place on our wall for sure!

My mother's day pic! haha! Fur baby moms are important too!

Our "family picture" was out of focus because I clearly have forgotten how to use my camera since moving to Florida!

Love this guy! He still makes my heart happy!

Happy Mother's Day!

Dear Mom,
I LOVE YOU!!
I wish we could be celebrating Mother's Day together! I can't imagine not having your favorite daughter around on your special day! I am beyond blessed to have you as my mom! You have taught me what it means to be selfless and to put your children first! I hope I am as great of a mom to my children someday as you are to me! I wouldn't be the perfect person I am today if it wasn't for you! Happy Mother's Day!

A little trip to the Miami Seaquarium

Miami Seaquarium offered free admission for teachers plus a half off admission a couple of weeks ago. Woohoo! With us still being Florida "tourists" we had to scope it out!

We were hooked the minute we walked through the gates!

We ended up with front row seats to the dolphin show and I got some great iphone pics and McTreaty got some great pics with our camera.

I ended up being completely soaked, but it was dolphin water which makes it all okay!

I decided I wanted to be a dolphin trainer! Who wouldn't? They are the cutest ever!

I realized I'd have to go back to college and take biology which didn't work out the first 2 times I took it...

so dolphin training is off the table.

Plus, I'm not sure I could touch the fish to feed them every time they did an amazing trick!

But, then I saw this baby dolphin being trained and thought I could touch a fish to see dolphin smiles...but there's still the whole biology thing.

 My fave!

The Seaquarium is literally right on the ocean. Gorgeous view!

Me soaked after cheering for Flipper!

This is when I think having children would come in handy...nothing like two 30 year olds posing with the fake shark!

We were exhausted after walking around all day, but decided to stay for the whale show. I'm SO glad we did because that is one amazingly huge creature!

The whale show convinced me to be a whale trainer until I realized I'd have to wear a wet suit in front of an audience on the daily...not for me.

Feeding a whale (wearing a very large, thick glove of course) is now on the top of my to do list!

I'm thinking of trading my dogs and cats in for a cute little dolphin!

It was killing me not to give Flipper a huge hug! Unfortunately, that was frowned upon which left me to awkwardly pat him. Getting our picture with the dolphin completely made our weekend!

wedding weekend

McTreaty and I headed to Sarasota last weekend for a wedding and took way too many iphone pics! I found a new photo app and may have gotten a little carried away!

Zack, McTreaty, and Norv (the groom) are all anesthesia residents at the same hospital. I feel sorry for their attending having to deal with all three of them at once!

The wedding location was breathtaking with the ocean in the background!!

Patiently waiting for the wedding to start.

 The beautiful bride, Alysha!

It's hard to tell, but the ocean is just beyond that fence.

Just beautiful!

After the wedding, we headed down by the water for a few more pics!

Standing on the edge did give me a sense of panic about falling in the fish infested water! (We saw a couple guys catching humongous fish!)

Brittany and me!

Lilly Pulitzer was right by the reception so of course we had to take a peek!

The boys just hanging out in Lilly!

Alysha's attention to details and creativity made for an amazing wedding and reception and of course a fabulous time!

Spring break 2013 part two

Catch up on part one here! We spent as much time as we could handle in the sand.  We tended to get a late start in the day and headed to the beach when the clouds were covering the sun...makes it a bit chilly!

 My other half!

 McTreaty's dad and mom!

The boys were much braver than the girls!

I love this one of McTreaty and his parents!

We were loving Fat Tuesdays!

Dinner at Bubba Gumps!

My Mother-in-Law...of course we planned to dress alike!

Me landing a few sand jumps!

The guys with a little lots o' sun flare!

Oh you know, just smoking my cigar or just holding it with my teeth. Whatevs!

It took a lot of work to get a picture with actual smoke in it!

McTreaty and his Mom dressed alike too. We really should have picked a brighter color to color coordinate with!

We took a boat out to snorkel and saw so many amazing cruise ships and mansions!

Love this to cool for school guy...I happen to think he is pretty handsome!

I basically wanted to live in every house we passed and own every boat on the water!

Ready to snorkel!

Me getting my snorkel on! The water was freezing at first, but perfect after a minute! I saw some pretty amazing fish and coral. An underwater camera is next on my list! It was killing me to not be able to take pictures!

Just in case you didn't see me...HI! I ended up staying in the water until the very last possible minute! Unfortunately, McTreaty tried to swim to the bottom of the ocean the first few minutes and busted his eardrum...no bueno!

I'm officially buying myself a boat goggles, a snorkel, and flippers!
